Strategic directions of development of region industry

In the article the strategic directions of development of the industry of the Republic of Dagestan are shown. Efficiency of management in strategic management is analyzed. The measures for increase of food security of the region in the conditions of the entry of Russia into the World Trade Organization (WTO) are considered. It is noted that effective management of the region demands a complex of the tools and the concepts connecting nation-wide planning with activity of business and public organizations.
