In the article the post-crisis current state of the industry of the Rostov region and its role in economic development of the region is considered. The conclusion that the area has steady growth rates on the main indicators of industrial production that provides a tendency to overcoming of the crisis phenomena in regional economy is drawn. On the basis of creation of trend model further growth of industrial production of area is predicted
