The article describes the regional budget stress-testing methodology for debt sustainability assessment. Having based on different crisis scenarios and post-crisis recovery, the authors analyzed key debt indicators and the impact of negative changes in macroeconomic conditions and financial markets on the structure of budget expenditures.
