The institutional and economic option of development of the water supply services, providing increase of efficiency of its elements on macro - mesa - and micro-level is offered. The specified option has the following mechanisms: justifications and formations of tariffs; establishments of standards of consumption of services of water supply and costs of their production; regulations of services sector of municipality and interaction with clients.
