Development and modernization of economy of Udmurt republic as old industrial region

In article the directions of social and economic development of the Udmurt Republic as old industrial region on the basis of modernization of its economy are presented. It is shown that process of modernization of economy except technological aspect as motive power includes also such components, as ethnic, social, ecological, ethical and other aspects.
