In the article the complex analysis of existing strategy of development of agrarian and industrial complex of subjects of the Volga federal district is carried out. The author's concept of strategy of social and market transformation of agroeconomy of the Saratov region, including main both the private purposes and presented in the form of a combination of five "M" - modernizations of production potential, land improvement of farmlands, small agrobusiness (support and development), motivations of work, marketing information system is proved.
