Due to accumulate global challenges in the social, environmental and economic spheres, the term "sustainable development" becomes increasingly important as a new paradigm of human development. The technique of research of task of the sustainable development at regional level by staff of mathematical statistics is considered. Creation of nonlinear regression model of sustainable development of the region is carried out on an example of statistical data of the Kemerovo region.
