An important aspect of effective activity of the enterprise is knowledge of the target consumer. In the article equipment market segmentation for wood and garden of Vladivostok on the consumer with use of the correlation and regression analysis is shown. The results of marketing research can be used by enterprises in the sector trading market at the strategy choice of positioning equipment sales.
