Prerequisites for the formation of strategies for sustainable development in the region

The preconditions of sustainable development strategies in the region are disclosed. According to the author, monitoring, analysis and evaluation of the real socio-economic situation concern them in the region. As the object of study the socio-economic situation in the Republic of Mordovia - one of the subjects of the Volga federal district is considered.
