The article describes the problems connected with the formation of the agricultural production market in the context of competitiveness maintenance saturation with high-quality foodstuff and growth of regional agrarian manufacture potential. Strong and weaknesses of formation of the market of agricultural production in the Republic of Mordovia are revealed. Strategic zones of managing which can be considered as preferable elements of the organization of the studied market are allocated.
