In the article it is researched the economic space transformation at megalevel of the global economic system of contemporary forms of economic organization of the society urgent. Among these forms there is the formation of megaregions performing global functions. Defining perspectives of creation and conditions for their effective performance is becoming an important direction of economic policy in the country.
