International labor migration in the far east district: problems of near-borde interaction

The present research provides the analysis of international labor migration in southern sub-federal units of Far East Federal District within the period from 2002 to 2008. It was shown, that the Jewish Autonomous region is characterized by a specific, in comparison with other sub-federal units of FEFD, geographical structure of the involved foreign labor, which is expressed in absolute leadership of Chinese migrants. A special attention in the research is given to evaluation of socio-economic reasons and consequences of foreign labor attraction into the Jewish Autonomous region.
