Sectoral specificity of activization processes of innovation activity in the south federal district

Having analyzed research and innovation potential the author determines innovation readiness of industrial sector. The article describes the rates and proportions of economic growth of the regions of the South Federal District and sectoral resource potential. Development indices of finance, investment and labour potential determine resource development level. The analysis has shown specific character of industrial production structure of the regions of the South Federal District and prospects of innovation and technological development of the sectors indicated.
