Areal vector of innovation-based development of the regions of the South federal district

Having analyzed areal specialization of innovation activity of the regions of the South Federal District the author determines the technological trajectories corresponding to specific character of innovation-based development of the regions of the South Federal District.
     During the analysis it has been determined that cost sharing in technological innovations and innovation activities depends on the types of areal trajectories.
     Statistical data have shown that during modernization stage borrowing of technologies must become the basis for development rather than creation of new technologies.
