Distribution of civil marriages as forms of freedom matrimonial behaviour of the population is revealed. The scale of the given phenomenon, areas of its distribution, the attitude of various socially-demographic groups of the population to a phenomenon of the free marriage union are analyzed. Preconditions and motives of credit behavior of families of republic are considered. It is shown, that among deterrents the role of socially-demographic circumstances, former experience of savings behavior and psychological impreparation is significant.
