The influence of the non-governmental sector of physical culture and sports on the population life quality and the socio-economic development of the Russian regions
Subject. This article discusses the impact of the physical culture and sports non-governmental sector on the socio-economic development of the Russian Federation. Objectives. The article aims to develop proposals for improving public administration and mechanisms for interaction with non-governmental sports organizations. Methods. For the study, we used the methods of econometric modeling using the least squares method for spatial data. Results. The article confirms the statistically significant positive impact of the non-governmental sector of physical culture and sports on the economic well-being and the population life quality in Russia. Conclusions. The non-governmental sector activity is an important factor in the socio-economic development of regions. It is necessary to develop a comprehensive approach to the interaction between the state and non-governmental organizations in the sphere.
