Subject. This article discusses the State policy of Russia in the regulation of economic development of its Arctic zone territories. Objectives. The article aims to analyze the modern conceptual foundations of economic processes in the Russian Arctic zone. Methods. For the study, I used the formal-logical and comparative-legal dialectical methods of scientific cognition. Results. The article reveals that institutional and economic interactions in the Russian Arctic are carried out with the State support. Key settlements serve as focal points that can develop with investment projects. Conclusions. Important conditions for addressing the economic development challenges of the Russian Arctic zone are the financial support measures comprehensiveness and the transparent system for assessing the socio-economic development of the territory.
