Subject. This article focuses on the development of transport infrastructure in Russia and its impact on the economy and the efficiency of implementing investment projects. Objectives. The article aims to evaluate the impact of the transport infrastructure development level on the country's economy and the effectiveness of infrastructure projects. Methods. For the study, I used the methods of induction, deduction, and systems analysis, as well as methods of statistical analysis of numerical data. Results. Financed projects in the field of transportation infrastructure are crucial for the economy and infrastructure development, but the measures taken in terms of investment stimulation at the national scale are still insufficient. Conclusions. It is necessary to apply a comprehensive and interregional approach to the investment projects implementation, which includes the development of transport infrastructure, the construction of new railway and road highways, and other transport infrastructure facilities.
