Subject. This article considers customs duties and tariffs as one of the key trends in the current global trade.
Objectives. The article aims to conduct a digital data analysis on the tax and tariff policy of the USA, and justify the possibility of its use in the current Russian economy.
Methods. For the study, we used statistical and comparative analyses, synthesis, comparison, and digital modeling.
Results. The article presents new approaches to the transformation of international trade and demonstrates the special role of tariff maneuvers in increasing revenues from the current international trade to the State budget.
Conclusions. It is necessary to carry out tariff maneuvers when forming trade policy and customs-tariff regulation for Russia under the sanction pressure.
