Subject. This article discusses the priorities of social and investment development of the Ural regions. Objectives. The article aims to analyze the investment and social aspects of strategic planning at the level of macroregion. Methods. For the study, we used the methods of statistical and graphical analyses. Results. Based on the analysis of the current strategies of socio-economic development of the subjects of the Ural macroregion, the article presents the calculated expected values of indicators of investment and social development of the macroregion. For the regions considered, the article offers unified target indicators of social development and investment support. Relevance. The results of the study can be taken into account when designing regional programmes for the development of the social sphere.
