Hostel-movement: international experience and prospects of development of the Russian Federation (on example of St. Petersburg)

In the article the special type of placement of the guests, new to the Russian Federation - hostel are considered. World experience in creation hostels is analyzed. Examples of foreign association's hostels are given. The analysis strong and weaknesses of the market of hotels of economy class (hostels) is carried out. Indicators of overall performance hostels across St. Petersburg and Russia are compared. The actions necessary for development of a hotel cluster of hotels of economy class in St. Petersburg are offered.
