Subject. Priority directions for the strategic development of Russia’s power grid complex.
Objectives. To conduct a comprehensive analysis and prioritize the development vectors of the Russian electric power complex in order to form a systemic approach to its modernization and enhance its resilience.
Methods. General scientific and specialized methods were employed, including a systems approach and comprehensive, comparative, structural-functional, statistical and correlation analysis.
Results. Eight key development dimensions have been identified and ranked: energy security, investment attractiveness, next-generation power grids, development of human and scientific potential, creation of decent working conditions, construction of environmentally friendly infrastructure, reorganization of suppliers’ operations, and export development. For each dimension, current challenges have been analyzed and specific measures proposed. A comprehensive roadmap has been developed, detailing the priority directions and tasks required for their implementation.
Conclusions. Implementing the proposed roadmap will help enhance the energy security, resilience and competitiveness of the sector. However, its success will depend on the effectiveness of coordination efforts, the volume of available resources, and changes in the external economic environment.
