Subject. The article examines the specifics of management of investment project portfolio at high-tech industrial enterprises, which are closely linked to scientific and technological development, and new technologies creation and implementation. Objectives. The purpose is to identify the specifics of investment project portfolio management, substantiate directions for its improvement given the priorities of technological development in the industry and strategic goals of the enterprise. Methods. The study draws on the interdisciplinary approach, combining methods of portfolio and project management, structural-functional analysis, systematization and classification of projects, analysis of domestic and international experience in managing investment projects in high-tech industrial sectors. Results. The paper demonstrates that the portfolio of investment projects at a high-tech industrial enterprise includes projects with varying levels of technological maturity, risk, and economic efficiency, which cannot be considered interchangeable. The developed matrix system for project evaluation enables resource allocation based on technological priorities and strategic significance, and identification of imbalances within the portfolio. Conclusions. The proposed approach ensures the integration of strategic and project management, alignment of projects with the corporate strategy, and enhances the efficiency of investment activities under conditions of high uncertainty of external factors. The findings can be used to improve corporate governance systems at high-tech industrial enterprises.
