Subject. The article addresses the creation of a conceptual model of interaction between sustainable development and competitive strategies for rocket and space industry enterprises. Objectives. The purpose is to develop the said conceptual model, focusing on improving the competitiveness and ensuring the sustainable development of enterprises of the rocket and space sector. Methods. The study rests on comprehensive approach, including theoretical analysis of contemporary concepts of sustainable development and competitive strategies, as well as the methodology of systems and comparative analysis to identify factors influencing the integration of these strategies. Results. The findings include the developed conceptual model based on integration of sustainable development principles into the corporate competitive strategies of rocket and space industry enterprises, and aimed at enhancing technological, economic, and social efficiency. The paper identifies key factors influencing the integration process, gives practical recommendations for implementing the model at the enterprises within the rocket and space industry, introduces a unique concept of ‘sustainable competitive development’. Conclusions. The conceptual model enables to enhance the competitiveness of rocket and space industry enterprises in international markets by complying with international standards, optimizing costs, improving operational efficiency, and product quality. If applied in practice, the offered recommendations will contribute to effective implementation of innovations in the activities of the enterprises with the involvement of the State and/or private investors.
