Tools for improving the credit policy of commercial banks

Subject. The article addresses banking products and credit policy technologies of commercial banks, which are developing in the context of digitalization in public spheres of activity, under financial instability.
Objectives. The aim is to present modern tools that contribute to the improvement of commercial banks’ credit policy, highlighting the main advantages of their implementation in practice.
Methods. The study employs integrated approach to examining the main directions of credit policy of commercial banks and ensuring their competitiveness, general and special methods of scientific knowledge, like systems analysis, observation, classification, and instrumental methods of grouping, comparison and generalization.
Results. The paper considers some modern tools for improving the credit policy of banks aimed at improving the efficiency of the credit institution and increasing the level of economic security of its customers. The main tools offered are CRM system, anti-fraud system, bridge loan. The paper describes their main tasks, procedures and methods. Furthermore, it considers pros and cons of the systems and processes from the point of view of various entities, and existing problems and positive aspects of digitalization of commercial banks.
Conclusions. The considered tools will enable to attract new customers, guarantee the economic security of customers and the banks themselves, increase the results of the bank's financial and economic activities, and improve its efficiency.
