Subject. The article examines the impact of victimity on the overall system of ensuring the financial stability of an economic entity. Objectives. The purpose is to explore the impact of victimity on the financial stability of business entities, disclose the victimity concept in the economic and financial sphere, and identify ways of its minimization to ensure sustainable development. Methods. We reviewed current scientific publications, articles, and combined research from various fields of expertise, and employed methods of analysis and information collection, focusing on practice and scientific works. Results. The paper defines the concept of victimity and its impact on the financial activity and sustainability of an economic entity, considers various factors of victimity. Furthermore, it examines the main provisions contributing to victimization within an economic entity, including weak internal controls, lack of proper risk management, and gaps in legal protection. We performed a comparative analysis of the level of victimization for recent ten years and its impact on financial activity, identified risk factors that increase the level of victimization in a modern business entity. Conclusions. The study offers practical recommendations to reduce victimity and improve financial sustainability. It also confirms the importance of considering victimity as a risk factor in ensuring the financial stability of an economic entity.
