Importance The article deals with the mechanisms of attracting investment in the priority social and economic development areas of the Far Eastern Federal District of the Russian Federation. The paper analyzes the changes in volume of attracted investment in 2016 relative to 2015.
Objectives We have conducted our own research of the investing in the priority social and economic development areas of the Far Eastern Federal District.
Methods The research involves the methods of logical and statistical analyses.
Results The article presents the results of analysis of the sources of investment of the Far East priority social and economic development areas. It identifies the most attractive regions for Russian and foreign investors.
Conclusions and Relevance The development of such a tool as the PDA in the Far Eastern Federal District entails a number of risks. It involves lending to Russian companies abroad. The largest volumes are invested in the Amur oblast, in comparison with budgetary investment to other regions.
