International experience of State regulation of the agroinsurance market: A review of literature

Importance In this paper, I investigate a set of literary sources describing the world experience of State regulation of the agricultural insurance market.
Objectives I am to study literature describing world experience of implementing State policy in the field of agricultural products insurance.
Methods In the process of analysis of public-private partnership in agrоinsurance, I use such research methods as review of existing literature on the topic of research, comparison, tabular, and scientific generalization.
Results On the basis of a long-term experience, the governments of the considered countries (except Germany) have drawn a conclusion that subsidizing insurance premiums is the best instrument of support for agricultural producers. At the same time, direct payments of the State confirm the inefficiency in the long term.
Conclusions and Relevance Formation of a correct structure of relationship between government and agricultural producers is the key to the long-term program of risk management in agriculture in each country.
