Review, generalization and evaluation of theories of economic cycles and crises. Development and comparison of new theories of the political and economic conditional cycle and the infinite crisis

Importance Changes in the existing economic and institutional environment requires correction of theories of economic cycles and crises. Objectives The study aims to summarize and evaluate the scholarly opinion on the theories of economic cycles and crises, and to offer new modern theories, namely, the political and economic conditional cycle and the infinite crisis theory. Methods The study employs historical and abstract-logical methods. Results I provide a rationale for inevitable departure from classical postulates of theories of cycles and crises during the period when countries, fighting for world domination, deliberately destroy the world economy. The article highlights specific features of proposed theories of economic cycles and crises. Conclusions and Relevance The paper lays the groundwork for further development of modified theories of cycles and crises. The knowledge about deliberate overt crises will allow better tackling them, including using the elements of the successful China's model.
