The article considers the main point and presents the technique of assessing budgetary and tax safety of the region. Using indicator analysis methods the author has assessed the budgetary and tax safety of the Belgorod region. The obtained results enable to characterize the budgetary and tax potential of the region and its utilization efficiency.
