According to the majority of economists, the current economic crisis became the deepest since Great Depression. Sharp changes on world financial platforms should affect the majority of the Russian financial institutions which degree of integration into a world financial system has essentially increased in the beginning of 21 centuries. In given article the analysis of processes of transformation of the Russian financial branch in the conditions of economic recession is offered and prospects of after crisis development of domestic financial institutions are considered.
