Subject. The article discusses the impact of seaport infrastructure on regional economic development on the Primorsky Krai case. Objectives. The purpose of the study is the systematization of available methodological approaches to assessing the impact of seaport infrastructure on regional economic development, identification and justification of the choice of the most appropriate assessment method in Russia, assessment of the impact of the Primorye seaports infrastructure on the economic development of the region. Methods. The study employs abstract-logical method, analysis and synthesis, graphical and tabular methods of visualization of the studied data. Results. The paper systematizes existing methodological approaches to assessing the impact of seaport infrastructure on regional economic development, selects the most suitable method to assess the impact in Russian conditions, and assesses the impact on the case of Primorye. This will enable to make informed decisions regarding government support measures and transport infrastructure facilities (namely seaports) development, to stimulate economic growth in the country's coastal territories. Conclusions. In the Primorsky Krai, there is a statistically significant relationship between the development of seaport infrastructure and regional economic development.
