The dynamic development of the Russian regional banking market observed during the cyclic periods of financial crises and post-crisis economic revival, revealed need of development of innovative bank strategy for increase of competitiveness of regional financial and credit institutes. In the article the state-of-the-art review of a current state of a regional bank cluster of economy of Krasnodar area is carried out and the main directions of its modernization for strengthening of competitive positions and increase of civilization of conducting banking business are developed.
