The article is devoted to research of the tools applied by the Central bank of the Russian Federation to regulation of the monetary and credit address. The essence of a monetary policy and its types is considered. The main instruments of regulation of monetary weight are investigated; the analysis of their values for the last six years is carried out. The main problems of this sphere are revealed and ways of their decision are defined.
