Subject. The article is devoted to improvement of innovation activities quality of network organizations.
Objectives. The purpose is to develop a method for economic evaluation of innovative projects for implementation of intelligent energy systems.
Methods. The study draws on methods of logical, economic, and statistical analysis.
Results. The paper presents a method for economic evaluation of innovative projects on intelligent systems implementation in the electric grid complex of grid organizations based on the ROI indicator assessment. We proposed to calculate the costs of technological connection and reconstruction, taking into account the wear factor of existing electrical networks and equipment, the transmission coefficient, and the synergy coefficient. If applied in practice, the developed method will improve the efficiency of selection of innovative projects in the energy sector.
Conclusions. The offered method will enable to revise traditional approaches to evaluating the innovative projects for intelligent electrical systems introduction in conditions of a high degree of wear and tear of the electric grid complex.
