Conceptual framework for managing the energy saving and energy efficiency at industrial enterprises in the context of their innovative development

Subject The article addresses the management of energy saving and energy efficiency at the industrial enterprise under conditions of its innovation-driven growth.
Objectives The focus is on developing the conceptual framework for managing energy conservation and energy efficiency under innovative development of industrial enterprises.
Methods We analyzed and defined different approaches to changing the enterprise management system, including the enterprise development strategy, management goals and objectives, and management structure and processes.
Results We built a conceptual model for managing energy saving and energy efficiency at an industrial enterprise in conditions of its innovation-driven growth, developed a mathematical formulation of the problem, considering various options for positioning the energy saving and energy efficiency. The paper also reviews organizational aspects of managing the energy saving and energy efficiency.
Conclusions The presented conceptual approach may serve as a basis for improving the competitiveness of domestic enterprises on the basis of energy saving processes that are considered from the position of their close integration with innovation management processes.
