A comparative analysis of development of small petrochemical business of Russia and the European Union member states

The article presents a comparative analysis of development of small petrochemical business in Russia and the European Union member countries. Using the methods of a correlation and regression analysis, the author reveals the major factors impacting on development of this sector of economy. The author derives regression equations describing dependence of an indicator of small petrochemical business development on the included factors. The defined scenarios submit experimental expected calculations of an indicator's dynamics of small petrochemical business development in Russia and the European Union countries for 2013-2015. The article contains certain recommendations on stimulation of development of small petrochemical business in Russia.
