Features of functional role of industry in economic development

On the basis of the analysis of the relation between the level of development of the industrial sector of the economy and level of development of the economy is showed that the functional role of the extractive sector plays only. At the same time, the domestic industry, represented by manufacturing industries, has almost no effect on the economy.
