Recently most developed countries have implemented export-oriented strategies of national economies stimulation. For the strategy to be implemented effectively the national currency rate should be depreciate towards the currencies of the trade partners. Obligatory condition of government regulation is to create a system for monitoring the effectiveness of management decisions, including the level of municipalities. Existing now system of separate indicators for measuring the activity of local government requires further improvement, both in composition to the list, and the degree of aggregation of indicators presented therein. The article proposes a mechanism of transition from separate indicators to common indicators to assess the impact on a scale functioning of local government on the ten proposed activities of the municipalities. The results of calculation of aggregate performance indicators of one of the municipalities of the Orenburg region in 2010-2011 are represented.

Importance This article deals with the theoretical, methodological and practical approaches to the formation of a system of information and analytical support for sustainable development of rural areas.
Objectives The article aims to improve tools of development of a system of information and analytical support for sustainable development of rural territories on the basis of creation of a Sustainable Development information analysis system.
Methods For the study, we used the methods of abstraction, analysis and synthesis, induction and deduction, the systems approach, as well as the methods of systems and expert analyses.
Results Strategic monitoring is one of the main components of the system of organizational and economic support for sustainable development of rural areas. The article proposes a method of increasing the efficiency of collection, processing and distribution of data on the state of the rural area system in general and its parts.
Conclusions The Sustainable Development information system allows to collect, analyze, store and use databases on the state of rural areas in a continuous mode. The establishment of a monitoring center for sustainable development of rural areas is necessary.


Studying the issues and prospects of hotel market development in Moscow under the current economic conditions

Importance It is reasonable to study issues and prospects of developing the Moscow hotel market as it demonstrates growing demand for accommodation services. The research is especially relevant during economic and political instability.
     ObjectivesThe research identifies and investigates issues and prospects of the hotel market, illustrating the case study of Moscow, where one-third of the Russian tourism entities operates.
     MethodsUsing comparison and analysis, we identify the specifics of the hospitality sector of Moscow and issues of operations in the hotel market of Moscow.
     Results As a result of a comprehensive review of the hotel market, we find negative aspects of the tourism development, i.e. lack of highly professional specialists, limited transport access, high prices, weak policy for promoting tourism products in the market. We summarized and reviewed official information on the domestic and inbound tourism for the recent five years. The article indicates the number of tourists accommodated in lodging facilities of Moscow. Currently, the hotel and accommodations services are provided by hotels, minihotels, apartments, hostels and other lodging facilities.
     Conclusions and Relevance We conclude that, notwithstanding the sanctions and complicated political situation, the hotel market of Moscow continues to develop and strive to the international quality standards. For H1 2014, 1.2 million people arrived in Moscow for business purposes, i.e. 4.4 percent up year-on-year.
