Importance This article deals with the regional scrap metal markets' functioning accompanied by a number of features, due to the typical differences of goods circulation of means of production, merchandise qualities of scrap metal, and regional distinctions of the reproduction process.
Objectives The article aims to analyze and systematize the distinctive features of the regional scrap metal markets, taking into account the interregional differences in the procurement, distribution, exchange, and consumption of scrap metal.
Methods For the study, I used the methods of systems, statistical analyses, and classification.
Results The article reveals significant distinctive features of functioning of regional scrap metal markets due to differences in regional reproduction.
Conclusions The article concludes that economic diagnostics of regional scrap metal markets should take into account regional particularities due to regional reproduction differences.
