Subject The article discusses the issues of managing staff turnover in organizations and considers the basic approaches to this management.
Objectives The paper aims to show the significance of the problem, conduct a comprehensive review of the personnel turnover in organizations, and develop practical recommendations for improving the effectiveness of HR management at the enterprise.
Methods The article presents estimates for staff turnover analysis: turnover rate, attrition coefficient, attrition intensity, coefficient of staff stability, etc.
Results The paper describes the current situation in the country at the moment caused by staff turnover. It presents the results of the analysis and the main factors affecting the level of personnel turnover in the construction organizations. As well, the paper offers certain activities to reduce the staff turnover and retain valuable employees in construction organizations on the basis of the modern strategic tool, i.e. controlling of personnel.
Conclusions and Relevance The analysis reveals the causes of staff turnover, the main challenges for organizations and identifies the ways to address gaps in HR. The developed practical recommendations would allow the organizations to not only reduce the level of staff turnover and carry out continuous monitoring of its condition, but also to increase the productivity, improve the quality of work and products, enhance staff motivation to work, develop an OHSAS management system.
