Improving the socio-economic situation: Development of a methodology for calculating and analyzing the average annual income per capita of the population in terms of municipalities

Importance The article deals with the development of methods for calculating per capita income of population at the level of municipalities, and analyzes the results obtained, in order to improve the socio-economic situation. Objectives The purpose of the study was to develop and justify a methodology of management of social and economic situation in terms of municipal entities. Methods For the study, I used statistical, econometric, and analytical methods. Results The paper develops and offers a number of socio-economic indicators to calculate the average annual income per capita of the population. Conclusions and Relevance The proposed method of calculating the average annual income per capita of the population, as well as a systems analysis of its structural elements can become the main component of monitoring the socio-economic situation of municipalities of the Russian Federation. The use of methods of calculation and analysis of average annual income per capita of the population of municipalities will help all the stakeholders involved increase the effectiveness of measures taken at the level of municipal management.
