Subject The article deals with the conditions for the use of regional capacities of the coastal area associated with fishing. Objectives The paper aims to identify the spatial interaction terms of infrastructure enterprises of industrial fisheries in the European North. Methods The study uses the methods of induction, deduction, comparison and synthesis to analyze the existing problems of the commercial-fishing infrastructure enterprises. Results The present terms of the spatial interaction of regional business structures do not provide an innovative development of the onshore infrastructure enterprises. The article offers to amend the conditions of managing the regional fishing-business structures to maximize the regional capacity factor of the shore area with ocean-related activities. Conclusions and Relevance The proposed management direction of change will provide the Murmansk oblast with innovative and sustainable socio-economic development. These recommendations may be used by other regions of the European North, as well as any seaside region of the Russian Federation.
