Index of material damage from fires in urban areas in Russian Federation for 2006-2010 years

One of the problems of the regional economy is an absence index, showing situation with material damage from fire in urban areas of the Russian Federation. There are no clear criteria for allocation of the most problematic regions, making it difficult to make informed management decisions. In economy and stock market for estimation of the condition actively use the index Dow Jones. Calculation of the index of the material damage from fires in urban areas in Russian Federation for 2006-2010 is executed in article on base of the approach Dow Jones. We select the most problematic regions and regions with a crisis situation. The index of the material damage from fires in urban areas can be used in management and personnel decisions, similar to how the Dow Jones is used in finance and economics.
