Statistical study of social differentiation of regions of Russia based on models of convergence

Heterogeneity of social and economic space of Russia influences formation of regional strategy in sphere of regulation of social processes. Therefore the objective quantitative estimation of inter-regional distinctions is necessary. Results of statistical modelling of regresses of convergence are presented in article. Models measure degree of differentiation of regions of Russia on a level of development of a social infrastructure during the period with 2000 for 2008. As a result of research directions of inter-regional social convergence and divergence are defined.
