The present article studies personnel motivation issues. The research gives definition to: a motive, personnel motivation, gratuity, salary, motivated activity. The article also determines basic ways of material encouragement and specifies general rules for personnel material encouragement. The research provides a detailed description of the most popular nonfinancial incentive categories. The article explores the main point of economic motives and their correlation with efficient work.
