Importance The research focuses on the scientific and methodological framework for evaluating military and economic security of the Russian Federation in emergency through the inversion and dynamic approach.
Objectives The research devises new methods to evaluate military and economic security of the State through the inversion and dynamic approach as emergency situations unfold.
Methods The research relies upon a systems approach and applies methods of statistical, economic, extrapolating, factor analysis and mathematical modeling.
Results Complying with transitivity and inversion approaches, we made up a matrix model reflecting a correlation of trends in growth rates (decline), economic and military security indicator, and designed an algorithm to evaluate military and economic security of the State.
Conclusions and Relevance The methods allowed to identify certain rules and patterns showing how emergency situations influenced the level of military and economic security of the State. The methods can improve federal budgetary spending on prevention and extinguishing of emergency situations and disasters.
