Corporate culture as a component of the national security

Importance The article examines how the national corporate culture influences the national security, and relevant aspects.
     Objectives The research figures out competitive components of corporate culture, which would enhance the national security of the Russian Federation.
     Methods We examined theoretical proceedings on the corporate segment of economy, competitiveness of companies, and national security. We relied upon data of the World Competitiveness Yearbook and research into capitalization of global brands, etc.
     Results
Corporate culture and national security closely relate to the national competitiveness, being independent from one another. International analytical centers are known to regard the USA as the leading competitor, with Top-10 Most Expensive Brands being headed by the U.S. companies. In this respect, the Russian companies should shape their corporate culture based on the revival of national and historical business principles. We propose corporate principles for doing business, which will allow fostering the Russian business patriotism.
     Conclusions and Relevance Economic security shall be regarded as a system where corporate culture should be a functional component of the effective national business, pursuing the State's interests and prosperity. As the national economy closely relates to harmonious corporate culture, it will improve the Russian indicators in the world competitiveness rating.
