Payroll for employees of internal affairs agencies, its significance for economic security, a need and methods for its improvement

Importance As the socio-economic situation becomes strained in Russia and worldwide, economic security issues and countering crime require special attention. Salaries of internal affairs employees play an important role in ensuring the economic security.
     Objectives The research analyzes the payroll of employees of internal affairs agencies and devises measures to improve it.
     Methods The research employs the correlation and regression analyses, statistical and comparative methods.
     Results I proved that the payroll system should be further improved for effective operations of internal affairs agencies to ensure and increase the economic security.
     Conclusions and Relevance Economic security depends on regular indexing of salaries for internal affairs employees, and improvement of the incentive mechanism. The preparation and adoption of the concept for developing the long-term social policy of the Russian Ministry of Internal Affairs will play a special role in improving the payroll system and should envisage the payroll system development.
