The current state of Russia requires active rethink views on the process of formation and development of corporate social responsibility (CSR). The solution to this problem is possible in the context of institutional transformation activities of socially responsible companies. In this regard, the author proves the increasing role of the institutionalization process in ensuring socio-economic activities of the subjects; identified key institutional preconditions for the development of CSR.
